לשי, אחד החברים שלי, יש "גלשן כוננות" שנמצא תמיד בקרבת מקום, במשרד או ברכב שלו.
כשיש "ים טוב" ואין לו משהו קריטי בעבודה,
שי משנה תוכניות, מזיז פגישות ומפנה כמה שעות לגלישה.
"ים טוב" הוא משהו שתלוי בטבע ובמזג האויר, כך שלא תמיד ניתן להיערך אליו מראש.
בשונה מאימון בחדר כושר או תרגול יוגה, אי אפשר לסגור עבורו זמנים קבועים ביומן בכל יום שני ורביעי ב 1600.
כשהתנאים מתקיימים והים "טוב" אפשר להגיע ולגלוש.
בכדי לעשות זאת נדרשת החלטה (אני רוצה !) ופעולה (שינוי לו"ז ונסיעה לים).
אפשר להרחיב את הרעיון של "ים טוב" ל- "יום טוב".
"יום טוב" הוא יום שמתהווים בו תנאים מתאימים שקוראים לנו לצאת מהשגרה היומיומית להפסקת פירגון של כמה שעות.
התנאים המתאימים יכולים להיות חיצוניים, כמו למשל יום שמש מפתיע באמצע החורף, שלג בחרמון,
נדידת ציפורים באגמון החולה או זרימה חזקה בנחלים,
והם יכולים להיות גם תנאים פנימים: חשק ורצון לטייל בטבע, לשוטט באיזה שוק נחמד,
לשבת על שפת הים עם בירה קרה וספר טוב, או לבלות בספונטניות זמן איכות עם חברה.
"יום טוב" יכול להתממש בצורות שונות,
אך בדומה ל"ים טוב" ולגלישת גלים, הרעיון המרכזי הוא לשנות תוכניות ולפנק את עצמנו בספונטניות, מבלי להיות אפקטיביים או פרודוקטיביים, מבלי לתקתק מטלות ולקדם משימות.
טכנית, זה אפשרי ואנחנו יודעים לעשות את זה:
כשקורה משהו לא מתוכנן בחיינו שמצריך פעולה מיידית,
כמו משבר בפרויקט, מחלה של אחד הילדים, או משהו חשוב אחר,
אנחנו משנים תוכניות ומתפנים למה שמבקש את תשומת ליבנו.
העניין הוא שרובנו מרשים לעצמנו לעשות את זה רק כשמשהו "מוצדק" דורש את הנוכחות שלנו.
לתפיסתנו, "מוצדק" זה בדרך כלל משהו דחוף ורציני, על פי רוב צורך של מישהו אחר.
משהו ש"לגיטימי" לשנות בגללו תוכניות.
חשוב להתעכב על הנקודה הזו:
במקרים רבים האילוצים החיצוניים הם לא הסיבה, אלא התירוץ.
הסיבה האמיתית היא הלגיטימציה פנימית.
זה מרגיש לנו לא לגיטימי.
בשונה משי, שלו זה מרגיש הכי לגיטימי בעולם:
ברור לו שזה מגיע לו, שמותר לו להנות,
שהצרכים שלו חשובים לא פחות משל אחרים,
ושהעולם יצליח להסתדר כמה שעות בלעדיו.
